When you create an account, we store your email address and a securely hashed version of your password. We never store your password in plain text. When you create a link, we store the URLs and link name you enter.
When someone opens one of your smart links, we record technical details about that visit so we can show you click analytics: the device type, operating system, browser, the visit time, the referring page, and the visitor's IP address. From the IP address we derive an approximate country and city. We do not collect names, phone numbers, precise location, or any other personal contact information, and that data is not available to us.
Our marketing pages use cookies. We also use Google AdSense to show advertisements on some pages. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to our visitors based on their visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.
Users may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info.
We use the information to operate the service, authenticate you, show you analytics for your links, prevent abuse, and improve the product. We do not sell your personal information.
Your links and their click data remain until you delete them or your account. Deleting a link removes its associated click records. To delete your account entirely, contact us.
Passwords are hashed with bcrypt and traffic is served over HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
AppLinkr is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
